Super Yatzy

Privacy policy

Last updated: 8 November 2026

Super Yatzy is made by Felipe Basurto, an independent developer. Your games, scores and profile stay on your device. The only thing the app sends is anonymous play statistics, and you can switch them off in Settings. There are no ads, no tracking and no accounts in this version.

What stays on your device

What the app sends, and when

While Share anonymous stats is on, the app sends events in small batches when you are online. Each event is one of these:

Every event also carries your install ID, a session ID, the app version, your language setting and the time. Values are numbers, yes-or-no answers or words from a fixed list. The app never sends your name, your photo, anything you type, or an account identifier.

Where the statistics are stored

The events go to a database hosted by Supabase in Paris, France, inside the European Union. Supabase runs the database for us. Its servers may log the IP address of each connection under its own privacy policy. The events themselves do not contain an IP address. We keep events for up to 13 months, after which we delete them or keep only totals that cannot identify anyone.

How to switch statistics off

Open Settings, go to Privacy and turn off Share anonymous stats. The app stops sending events and removes the events waiting on your device. Your games and statistics keep working.

What we do not do

Your profile photo

You can choose a profile photo with Apple's own photo picker. The app receives only the photo you pick, crops it to a square and keeps a small copy of 256 by 256 pixels on your device. In this version the photo is not uploaded anywhere. You can go back to a drawn character at any time from your profile.

Permissions

The app does not use your camera, microphone, location or contacts. It opens the photo picker only when you choose a profile photo.

Children

Super Yatzy is for a general audience. The app does not ask for your age. The statistics carry a random install ID, but no name, photo or contact detail. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has sent us data, write to us and we will delete what we can find.

Accounts

Accounts are not available in this version. If we add them, we will update this policy before they go live.

Your requests

Deleting the app removes the install ID from your device, along with any events waiting to be sent. To ask us to delete the events we hold for your install, write to REPLACE-WITH-SUPPORT-EMAIL with your install ID if you can find it. Without it we may not be able to find your events, and we will tell you so. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, and for it to be corrected.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
